New Name For Asp Duraframe

Leading West Midlands based aluminium supplier, ASP Duraframe is delighted to announce details of its new company name. As of 1st February 2007 the company, which has its head quarters in Kingswinford, will change its name to Aluminium Special Products Limited.

The name Aluminium Special Products has been the High Performance trading division of the company since its re-organisation in 2004 but following a hugely successful period in the aerospace and military industries, the company has decided to change names in order to better reflect the future of the business.

David Robinson, Managing Director comments: “The original ASP business began 21 years ago with the main principal of giving customers exactly what they want without compromise. That philosophy is of even greater importance today as we continue to see our specialist production lines closed down. As we ’come of age‘ it seems fitting to ensure the company is focused in the right sectors.

“Since 2004, we have gone to market as two divisions, ASP and Duraframe Systems. The Duraframe range is now very strong. With all production and assembly controlled in house, we can offer a level of quality, flexibility and service not available from importers. However, the main thrust of our business development is based on the specialist products under the ASP flag. Extraordinary recent growth proves that this is where our expertise is most valued and respected.

Aluminium Special Products Limited is able to offer a complete service in raw material, partly or fully processed components and assemblies as well as production consultancy. Applications include civil and military aircraft, defence systems, automotive, motor sport and other high performance sectors.
